Re: September
School's mainly the shitty part of it.
It causes inactivity. I'm busy as is, I can't even go on the computer for an hour a day anymore. Lol. ._.
My months have been good and bad, but I cherish every moment of free time/times I'm alone now. I used to be really addicted to the computer and now I'm not even on an hour a day... it's a good and bad thing I suppose. ^_^

About 3 years old. The problem has been in effect for about 7 months.
At first, when i turned on the computer, the monitor would require about 30 seconds of quick flickering and turning off rapidly until it turned on. It gradually got worse as the months went on, and later an audio sound was heard when it was turned on.
Finally, just about three weeks to a month ago, the computer monitor just turns off without use for more than 7 hours, and it takes hours to get it back on, and does the flickering thing again.
It's annoying...i think the correlation is the more time not using the computer, the more longer the time of waiting will be....any hint to what this could be?

Re: September
If you shut down the computer, but don't depress the button on the screen, do you then have to do the many button presses restart or not?
